Panama - Boquete

Boquete is a nice quiet mountan town in Panama. We needed a break from heat and sand, so this was a good retreat. We just walked around for two days but it was cool seeing a somewhat "real" part of Panama.

These kids smile for the camera, but then they started screaming "Plata! Plata!". That means that they are requesting a donation.

After Boquete we were considering going somewhere else in Panama. But Panama City is very far down the coast, and it sounds like a big city that is trying to replicate Miami. Not my style, so we went north back into Costa Rica. We'll go up along the Pacific Coast with the long range goal of going to Nicaragua.
